Karad.

Vision and Initiatives

Driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of youth and education, Dr. Rahul V. Karad has redefined how learning connects with nation-building. Guided by an unshakable national spirit, he has consistently aligned education with social purpose - inspiring young Indians to link knowledge with service, and intellect with integrity.
As the Founder of MIT School of Government (MIT-SOG), Pune - Bharat's first institution dedicated to training future political leaders - he has championed the idea that leadership can be taught, nurtured, and guided. His mission: to build a generation of educated, ethical, and empathetic leaders who view politics as public service rather than power.
Under his visionary leadership have emerged some of Bharat's most influential youth-driven platforms:

  • Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (BCS) - the world's largest classroom on leadership and democracy, inspiring millions of students to engage in public life.

  • National Women's Parliament (NWP) - a pioneering platform empowering women to occupy leadership positions and contribute meaningfully to governance.

  • Rashtriya Sarpanch Sansad (RSS) - strengthening the foundations of democracy by equipping village leaders with skills in governance and community leadership.

  • National Legislators' Conference (NLC) Bharat - his most recent and visionary initiative, bringing together legislators from all states and political parties on a single platform to share ideas, best practices, and innovations in governance.

The inaugural 2023 conference in Mumbai witnessed participation from over 1,800 legislators, representing nearly half of Bharat's population - a landmark in the nation's democratic journey.

Through these initiatives, Dr. Karad continues to build bridges between education, governance, and social transformation, empowering citizens and institutions alike. His work stands as a testament to one belief - that education is not complete until it shapes character, instills values, and strengthens the soul of the nation.
